You will be working as part of a supply chain team assisting with the ongoing operational management of major retail customer.

Duties will include:

  • Managing a busy inbox and responding to enquiries from buying team, import team and other freight forwarders
  • Ensuring customer is provided with up to date sailing schedules
  • Ensure that key product lines and launches arrive in at the destination on time
  • Advising the customer of any changes to planned shipments or deliveries
  • Address any issues and resolve them as soon as possible
  • Understand all SOPs and make agreed amendments if required
  • Work to all KPI’s as set by the management team

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a supply chain or freight forwarding environment
  • An understanding of ocean freight terminology
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Understanding of key drivers within the supply chain
  • Excellent I.T. skills including Microsoft Excel
