  • Leading an internal sales team to sell innovative freight technology solutions and qualify opportunities with prospective clients, whilst also developing your own client portfolio.
  • Driving the sales team to consistently meet their targets and objectives
  • Targeting and qualifying new potential commercial clients, building the sales pipeline for the external sales team
  • Introducing and promoting innovative freight technology solutions to customers
  • Generating qualified leads through outbound warm and cold calls within the targeted market
  • Working closely with the Marketing team to generate and nurture a pipeline of qualified sales leads
  • Responsible for all internal sales and pricing activities of the import department
  • Ensuring clients are receiving accurate and competitive quotations and ensuring quotes
  • Coaching, training and developing your team in order to achieve company targets and goals.


  • Previous experience working within an internal sales role
  • Excellent people management skills and an ability to drive sales results.
  • Keen interest in technology and digital solutions
  • Strong systems and CRM skills, ideally Cargowise
  • Solid background in freight forwarding particularly ocean freight
