You will be working as part of a supply chain team assisting with the ongoing operational management of major retail customers. The opportunity offers extensive opportunities for personal development, training and clear progression paths.
- Ensuring customers are provided with up to date sailing schedules
- Ensure that key product lines and launches arrive in at the destination on time
- Advising Clients of any changes to planned shipments or deliveries
- Run and analyse reporting linked to each customers panned shipments
- Run and analyse Client reporting
- Complete Origin and destination dashboard chasers
- Understand and follow SOP requirements
- Escalate any issues that may impact client SLAs
- Consolidate weekly market updates
- Review inbound purchase order files
- Dashboard maintenance – removing cancelled orders etc. to maintain a clean dashboard
- Manage daily activity via Action lists / updates / dashboard
Requirements
- Excellent I.T. skills including good proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including V LOOKUP and Pivot Tables (essential)
- Relevant experience in supply chain management of freight forwarding
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally
